Pleasant Hill-Oasis-Roosevelt 230 kV Transmission Line

The Pleasant Hill-Oasis-Roosevelt 230 kilovolt (kV) transmission line was placed in-service on January 27, 2015.

The transmission line will reduce overloads and low voltage conditions in eastern New Mexico and provide needed capacity for future growth in the Clovis, New Mexico area.

The Pleasant Hill-Oasis transmission line runs approximately 16 miles from a new Pleasant Hill Substation located approximately five miles northeast of Clovis. It connects to an existing 115 kV line west of Cannon Air Force Base and north of the existing Oasis Substation. The Pleasant Hill-Roosevelt transmission line runs approximately 26 miles between the proposed Pleasant Hill Substation and the existing Roosevelt Substation located south of Clovis.

A Certificate of Convenience and Necessity was filed with the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission in February 2012 and approved by the Commission in July 2012.
